30-year mortgage rates are expected to hover around 3% for the rest of 2021 — unless inflation gets too hot and makes the Federal Reserve cannonball into the deep end to cool off the market! Inflation aside, now’s the time to take advantage of the low rates, because they’re expected to rise to 4% or higher in the years following. That may not sound like much of a difference, but it could cost you several hundred dollars on your monthly mortgage.
